My eldest maternal uncle is a man of discipline and management. I can’t remember a single time he had ended up in confusion and chaos. I have admired him for as long as I can remember.

Now he isn’t the kind of person who would literally run to get everything done in time. But rather the most laid back and yet he manages to get everything done in time which a normal person can’t without messing up. I am a fan of that skill so I observed him as much as I can and he also shares his knowledge without me crying for it.

So here’s the observation. He has a fixed place for literally everything and when I say everything that includes even a spot for spare toothpicks. He puts and makes us put the things exactly back to their designated place. He doesn’t moves or acts that fast but I did notice that he wastes very little time in between his moves and acts, that’s why his works end up in same time as Usain Bolt, sometimes even earlier if Usain forgets something in hurry.

He starts packing his luggage the night before the commute. This by no means mean that he started everything from scratch that night, he had prepared all the required clothes and accessories ahead and would just iron the clothes before packing up.

I can talk for days about his godly way of doing things but what I want to bring your attention to today is that you need not to be a super swift person to be able to manage your time and get more done. The trick is to make your every move as efficient as possible and avoid unnecessary hassle by keeping yourself organized. I am trying to implement this in my own life and I have already started to witness the benefits.
